Is it really just “Another Tour” for choreographer Henning Rübsam’s New York City-based company SENSEDANCE?
After he holds auditions to replace a pregnant principal for an upcoming tour through Peru, the replacement dancer injures herself just before the departure. "Another Tour" lovingly documents the hardship of the rehearsal process and creates an intimate portrait of a dance company against the backdrop of Peru from the southern mountains to the seaside city of Trujillo. Henning leads his flock through trials and triumphs and despite unfavorable circumstances the company never gives up its pursuit of excellence.
